  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 1 ¼ cups chickpea flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 1 cup water (warm)

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a 10” cast iron pan inside to preheat.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together chickpea flour, salt, and Italian seasoning (if using).
  3. Slowly whisk in 1 cup of warm water until fully combined. Let it sit to thicken slightly.
  4. Carefully brush 1 tbsp of olive oil over the hot cast-iron pan.
  5. Whisk the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil into the chickpea batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the hot pan, spreading it into an even layer with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 15-17 minutes, until the crust edges are golden brown and crisp.
  8. Add your favorite pizza toppings and bake for another 15 minutes until bubbly and delicious.
