  • 🌾 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 🥄 Frying oil
  • 🧂 Salt, to taste
  • ⚫ Pepper, to taste

📋 Directions:

  1. 🌿 Prepare the Basil: Rinse, pat dry, and remove the basil leaves. Heat 1 inch (3 cm) of frying oil in a deep saucepan. Fry the basil leaves, one at a time, for 1 minute, turning once. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 🍢 Coat the Skewers: Roll half of the skewers in the sesame seeds and the other half in the poppy seeds.
  5. 🔥 Cook the Skewers: Fry the skewers in hot oil for 2 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
