- 🍍 8 slices canned pineapple in syrup
- 🍍 2 tablespoons pineapple syrup
- 🍋 1 untreated lemon
- 🍬 200g granulated sugar
- 🍬 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 🧈 180g butter (plus 15g for greasing the pan)
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🥚 1 egg yolk
- 🥛 2 tablespoons milk
- 🍹 1 tablespoon rum
- 🧂 1 pinch of salt
📋 Directions:
- Prepare the Caramelized Base:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (210°C). Grease a round cake pan generously with 15g of 🧈 butter.
- Cream together 120g of 🍬 sugar and 100g of 🧈 butter until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly into the bottom of the cake pan.
- Place the pan in the oven and allow the mixture to caramelize slightly. Remove from the oven and arrange the drained 🍍 pineapple slices on top. Set aside.
- Make the Cake Batter:
- Melt the remaining 🧈 butter.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 🌾 flour, 🌟 baking powder, and the grated 🍋 lemon zest.
