  • 🌟 1 packet of baking powder
  • 🍍 8 slices canned pineapple in syrup
  • 🍍 2 tablespoons pineapple syrup
  • 🍋 1 untreated lemon
  • 🍬 200g granulated sugar
  • 🍬 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 🧈 180g butter (plus 15g for greasing the pan)
  • 🥚 1 egg
  • 🥚 1 egg yolk
  • 🥛 2 tablespoons milk
  • 🍹 1 tablespoon rum
  • 🧂 1 pinch of salt

📋 Directions:

  1. Prepare the Caramelized Base:
    • Preheat the oven to 425°F (210°C). Grease a round cake pan generously with 15g of 🧈 butter.
    • Cream together 120g of 🍬 sugar and 100g of 🧈 butter until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly into the bottom of the cake pan.
    • Place the pan in the oven and allow the mixture to caramelize slightly. Remove from the oven and arrange the drained 🍍 pineapple slices on top. Set aside.
  2. Make the Cake Batter:
    • Melt the remaining 🧈 butter.
    • In a mixing bowl, combine 🌾 flour, 🌟 baking powder, and the grated 🍋 lemon zest.
    • Add the melted butter, remaining 🍬 sugar, 🥚 egg, 🥚 egg yolk, 🥛 milk, 🍍 pineapple syrup, 🍹 rum, and 🧂 salt. Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  3. Assemble and Bake:
    • Pour the batter over the pineapple slices in the prepared pan.
