Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

A refreshing peppermint ice cream, studded with generous chunks of dark chocolate for a perfect combination of cool and crunchy.

Ingredients:

  • 🌿 1 cup (250 ml) whole milk
  • 🌿 1 cup (250 ml) heavy cream
  • 🍬 1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
  • 🍫 3.5 oz (100 g) dark chocolate, chopped
  • 🌿 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 🌱 1/2 tsp peppermint extract

Directions:

🌿 Infuse the mint:

  1. Heat 🌿 milk over low heat with fresh mint leaves.
  2. Remove from heat and let it steep for 10 minutes, then strain to remove the leaves.

🌱 Prepare the base:

  1. Stir in 🌿 heavy cream, 🍬 sugar, and 🌱 peppermint extract into the infused milk. Mix until the sugar is fully dissolved.

🍨 Churn the ice cream:
