  • 🧈 120 g salted butter
  • 🍫 200 g dark chocolate
  • 🌾 120 g flour
  • 🍬 120 g granulated sugar
  • 🌟 1/2 packet baking powder
  • ✨ 2 edible gold leaves (optional, for decoration)

📋 Directions:

  1. 🔥 Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 465°F (240°C).
    • Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool slightly. Grate the zest of half an orange and set it aside.
  2. 🥣 Prepare the Batter:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
    • Stir in the egg yolks, then gently fold in the egg whites lightly whisked with a fork.
    • Add the orange zest and melted butter, mixing well between each addition.
  3. 🧁 Bake the Madeleines:
    • Fill silicone madeleine molds to three-quarters full.
    • Bake for 4 minutes at 465°F (240°C), then lower the temperature to 350°F (180°C) and bake for another 6 minutes.
