Blood Orange Sorbet

A vibrant sorbet made with fresh blood oranges, offering a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness with a stunningly bright color.

Ingredients:

  • 🍊 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) fresh blood orange juice
  • 🍬 1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
  • 🍶 2/3 cup (150 ml) water
  • 🍋 1 tsp fresh lemon juice

Directions:

🍬 Prepare the syrup:

  1. Heat 🍶 water with 🍬 sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool completely.

🍊 Add the blood orange juice:

  1. Combine the cooled syrup with 🍊 blood orange juice and 🍋 lemon juice. Mix thoroughly.

🍧 Churn the sorbet:

  1. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until light and creamy.
