📝 Ingredients (Serves 6)

  • 🥚 12 egg whites
  • 🍬 300 g powdered sugar
  • 🌾 125 g all-purpose flour
  • 🌽 65 g cornstarch
  • 🌸 1 packet pink pralines, crushed (or about 50 g)
  • 🧂 2 pinches of salt
  • 🍋 1 tbsp lemon juice

📋 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Oven and Egg Whites:

  1. 🔥 Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. 🍳 In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites with the salt and lemon juice until soft peaks form.

2️⃣ Incorporate the Dry Ingredients:
3. 🍬 Gradually add the powdered sugar while continuing to beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
4. 🌾 Sift the flour and cornstarch together, then gently fold them into the egg whites.
5. 🌸 Add a portion of the crushed pink pralines for a subtle crunch and color.

3️⃣ Bake the Cake:
6. 🍰 Pour the batter into an angel cake pan lined with parchment paper on the bottom (do not grease the sides).
7. 🔥 Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the cake is firm and lightly golden.

4️⃣ Cool and Serve:
8. ❄️ Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan. To unmold, run a knife along the edges of the pan before gently removing the cake.
